Research Findings

  • Chinensis Galla shows a favorable antibiofilm activity. (1)
  • The extract and some components of Chinensis Galla show remarkable efficacy on anticaries: inhibitory effect on oral bacteria; the demineralization inhibition property; the remineralization-enhancing property and stability and toxicity evaluation. (2)
  • The extract of Galla Chinensis remineralized artificial root lesions in vitro under dynamic pH-cycle condition. (3)
  • The extract of Galla of Chinensis has a potential on demineralization in bovine enamel blocks under dynamic pH-cycle condition. (4)
