Rheumatic or rheumatoid arthralgia with aching and weakness of the lower back and knees; abnormal uterine bleeding, menorrhagia; uterine bleeding during pregnancy, threatened abortion; hypertension

Research Findings

  • The avicularin existing in parasitic ioranthus [Taxillus chinensis (dc.) danser] can potently inhibit fatty acid synthase. (1)
  • Parasitic loranthus significantly reduced food intake in rats by inhibiting fatty acid synthase. (2)
